After our fun at Disneyland, we headed to Sea World. I was so excited for this part of our trip and we had a couple extra fun things planned.
First, we went on a tour of the park and behind the scenes a little bit.

Little fish that clean the dead skin off of your hands. Pretty creepy feeling actually

Our first stop on the tour was to see this little baby sea otter

We got to see some of the normal exhibit animals with a little bit more information on them.

We got to feel the turtles heads of lettuce which was pretty cool

This penguin was excited to see people and wanted so badly to be picked up. It was great that one of the handlers finally did pick him up and let us pet him.

Next we went in the back to their rescue/hospital area.

Where there was a newly-rescued sea lion being examined

They had a mom and baby dolphin in the back pools, and both were very friendly and active.
Our next big surprise for Kaylee was that we got to interact with the dolphins! It was so amazing!
The rest of the day we relaxed in stadiums and watched the different animal shows. First were the killer Whales.

The “Shamu” whale was in the tank before the show. It was a little unnerving that he was SO calm and kept rising up to stare at the crowd.

Next was the seal show, but first we stopped to feed the ones in the exhibit

One of the workers/handlers had this falcon? with him, and let Kaylee pet it

The fish smelled SOO bad, but Kaylee had fun tossing them and the seals sure loved them

We went to the dolphin show, but we were in the splash zone, and I didn’t risk taking the camera out.
Last of all, right before the park closed, we went on one of the rides….which got us more wet than any of the splash zones we sat in all day.
