To the vet again we go!!

Sooooo Hobbs is going to the vet again tomorrow morning to have a Giardia test and hopefully they will fix it this time. Hobbs has had diarrhea for almost 3 weeks now, and lots of people are getting concerned. Hopefully there wont be any permanent damage because then I will feel awful. Cross your fingers that this is the end of the diarrhea and we can move on!

Pictures!

So I realised that I took a TON less pictures of Fun Day than I thought, but here are the ones I have:
Hobbs doing a wonderful "Look" on command.
...he has his first set of beads here. Lol!

Baby puppies playing! They were sooo cute!

Hobbs watching the puppies playing. His head looks so horrible in this picture! Everyone kept asking if he was a cross because they said he has a golden head....which I kind of agree with.

Just being a good boy. I really like this picture.

And finally sleeping with all his beads and collar cover.
That is the end of the pictures :(
Hobbs has been so good this week! I have been covering at work so I have been there every day for most of the day. Usually we are there two days a week. But he is getting a little more mouthy and it is because he lost all of his canines and baby molars in 3 days. I am sure his mouth hurts! Luckly he hasn't destroyed anything as of yet. Nothing could be as bad as Calliope shreading 2 or 3 of my dresses, a college research paper (the final draft), 3 pairs of shoes, a pair a riding pants, and a dressage whip (used in riding horses)! She had quite the talent for pulling things through her kennel to shred them when I wasn't there.
Anyways I have to go cook dinner for my wonderful husband!

Update

So not much has happened since Fun Day, but I still don't have any pictures to post.

Hobbs is doing wonderfully, and I think GDB will love me and my apartment complex for having so many cats that Hobbs ignors most of them now...even the angy momma cats who try to attack him as he walks past. Lol. We will see how long the good behavior lasts though, he is due for hormones anytime now and it starting to show a little bit of stuborn-ness. He is starting to lose his baby molars and one actually broke off at the root when he ran into a doorway. This week Hobbs gets to go with me to work all 5 days of the week instead of the normal 2 so we will see how long his patience lasts.

My Husband and I celebrated our 6 month anniversary with roses and a HUGE bear that Hobbs "picked out" at the store. I have pictures of that but I can't find my computer cable for the stupid thing. I am going to just post a big long string of pictures when I finally can get them off the camera.

Anyways it is too early for anything too interesting, so I will post later today, hopefully with pictures.

Fun Day!....without pictures

Fun Day was amazing if I do say so myself! This was the first fun day that I have not had to leave my puppy there!! I dropped both Patriot and Calliope off at Fun Day for their formal training, and it was so much more relaxed knowing that my puppy got to go home with me. I took a few pictures, I am not a huge picture taker, but my camera got left at a table and I am in the process of getting it back. So no pictures for a while.

I have come to the conclusion that it is virtually impossible to see and do everything at fun day! I always seem to miss things (this time it was the obstical coarse in the kennels) that would have been soo fun to do with Hobbs! But I bought a bunch of stuff including the newest approved toy! The "GoughNuts" dog toy is now one of Hobbs' favorites! If you have a need of a good, durable toy get one! They are replaceable for life, if your dog ever "Kills" one they will send you another. I got one for Patriot for Christmas too, I think he will go through a few of them...Lol.

Hobbs did wonderfully and didn't get stressed until just before lunch and then just after. He got to go rest in the quiet room twice, and both times came out ready for more! I saw a lot of the puppies who have blogging raisers...I saw:

Sherman
Suede
Spike
Onterio &
Pantera
Then I saw a few other people who I know from raising in Utah.

Hobbs had two other littermates that were registered to come, Hydra (who I found out is in the Contra Costa County Puppy Raising Club), and Hansel (who is in AZ), but neither of them showed up to the littermate meeting place. Hal was there (he is in my same club) and is now smaller than Hobbs even though he was much bigger when they came off the truck. I ran into Howell's raiser (from AZ) on pier 39, but she had him puppy sat instead of bringing him. From what I hear I was pretty lucky to get such an angel because all the other puppies I have heard about are quite the handful! Hopefully hormones don't make Hobbs too crazy.

My favorite part of this fun day was seeing all the kennel enrichment stuff that they had a tour of in one section of the kennels. they look like they are pretty spoiled there IFT. Hobbs tried out the Dura-Bed and didn't want to leave!
Well I will post more later when/if I get my camera back!

Pre-Fun Day....day

Hobbs, my husband, and I arrived in San Rafael last night after a 9 hour drive from SLC Utah. We had to get up early for Hobbs' apointment with GDB's vet. To see if Hobbs' Mange really needs the follow up treatments....pretty expensive. We got to see Dr. Hess who was really great about explaining exactly what we should be looking for and why the follow-ups wouldn't be nessisary. I didn't really feel like Hobbs was ready to take on San Fransisco so he got to stay at GDB for the day. Kind of nerve racking for me....I was just worried he would be super stressed about it. But he did great!

Robert and I had a wonderful (if not very short) day in the city. We bought way too much stuff, and ate a ton of junk food, but lol, we had fun. After rushing home to get Hobbs (GDB is soo accomidating...they put hobbs on tie down in the Kennel reception office and propped the door open for me, because we were late and they had closed) we went to dinner with a bunch of other raisers. we had a great time and hobbs got to meet a bunch of other puppies.

Wel that is that and I will see you all tomorrow!
