20 Weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights: What a milestone! Half way to meeting this new member of our family. I am feeling pretty good lately!
How Far Along: 20 weeks
Size of baby: About 6.5" head to bum and 10" from head to foot and weighing about 10.5 oz
Weight: 192.8
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gain: 10.2 lbs
Stretch Marks: A couple of Cadence's marks have turned from the purpleish color they have been to redish....meaning they count as new ones.
Maternity Clothes: Yes
Gender: I have been telling people this week "We aren't planning to find out, but ask me AFTER the ultrasound if that is still the plan." I am SOO tempted to find out on Tuesday! I know if we find out I will be happy and excited, but I will also be disappointed that I ruined the surprise for myself. I HATE when surprises get ruined!
Name: The names we choose will also remain private (at least on here) until He/She is born.
Movement: The movement is getting stronger!! I know it is getting SO close to being able to be seen (or at least felt) from the outside. Luckily, this one seems to not care if someone is touching my belly. With the girls they would kick like crazy and then freeze when someone wanted to feel them moving.
Sleep: The sleep is getting better, with me only waking up two or three times each night.
Exercise: I have been getting in more exercise to prepare myself more for the agility trial the first weekend of May. We worked practically the entire day on Saturday to get the lawn planted.
Hypnobabies: I am actually thinking of starting to listen to some of the tracks now and then starting the full course at 25-28 weeks as planned. Haven't done this yet lol! I keep meaning to listen as I walk in the mornings, but I forget every time.
Symptoms: My back has started hurting by the end of the day this week. This is the first time I have really had consistent back pain during a pregnancy.
Throw up tally: Around 25 (I am losing count)
What I miss: My lung capacity! This has been the first week where I can feel a big difference when I run agility.
Cravings: Chipotle burritos! Lol, that is the only big one now, but I could eat one every day. I don't, but I could! I can pretty much eat anything, but no other big cravings.
Aversions: Eggs! This is a complete opposite from the last two babies, with them I couldn't get enough. Other than that, I can't think of anything really big.
Things to do: Still everything! Paint nursery, decide on bedding, buy bedding, start hypnobabies, get newborn medical things, wash clothes, buy coming home outfits (both boy and girl)
Best Moment this week: Getting to hear the heartbeat once again! The little stinker was hiding as usual, and it scares me to death every time. If I couldn't feel him/her moving it would make me even more nervous.
Looking Forward To: The anatomy scan!! On Tuesday we will be seeing this little munchkin on an ultrasound!

21 Weeks 'Til The End!

Pregnancy Highlights: Haha! I am so close to half way it is crazy! I can't decide what I think this little one is. Some days I am saying He and some days I say She. There are a lot of similarities between this pregnancy and the girls' and that makes me think girl. But, there are some little differences (such as how I am carrying) that make me wonder if this one might be a boy. I honestly don't care either way! A boy would be a fun new adventure and a girl would be so much fun for Kaylee. I am trying to embrace and enjoy this pregnancy....but I am just so tired of being pregnant. I am excited for the baby, and feeling great for being pregnant, but it is hard mentally to be pregnant again so soon.
How Far Along: 19 weeks
Size of baby: About 6" and weighing about 8.5 oz
Weight: 192.2
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gain: 9.8 lbs - Seriously scared of the weight gain so far.
Stretch Marks: Only the ones that haven't faded from my pregnancy with Cadence - I am really scared this time for the stretch marks. I feel like my belly is already huge, and I'm not even to the halfway point!
Maternity Clothes: Yes - I found a bunch of nice shirts for really cheap, so I am happy!
Gender: We are not finding out until this little one is born, and I am SO excited for that! I am wavering in my resolve a little because we have the ultrasound scheduled.....but I am hoping that I stay strong!
Name: The names we choose will also remain private (at least on here) until He/She is born.
Movement: This week has been consistent movement, even if it is really light so far.
Sleep: The sleep is getting better, with me only waking up two or three times each night.
Exercise: I tried to do a bunch this week, but the weather hasn't been cooperating very well. Our stroller broke, so walks are difficult. I think I am going to try to find a used one that is really cheap to get us by until we can get a nice double jogging one.
Hypnobabies: I am actually thinking of starting to listen to some of the tracks now and then starting the full course at 25-28 weeks as planned. Haven't done this yet lol! I keep meaning to listen as I walk in the mornings, but I forget every time.
Symptoms: Not much this week. I have been feeling really good. My belly button hasn't hurt more than once the whole week!! It has been so wonderful!
Throw up tally: Around 25 (I am losing count)
What I miss: Sleeping through the night. A solid few hours of sleep would be fabulous!
Things to do: Lol, everything! At 20 weeks I will actually make a list so I can start crossing things off. I took down Cadence's stuff.....it was really healing, and kind of hard. I am selling her crib bedding set, and putting all of her stuff into a box until I decide if/how I want to display it.
Best Moment this week: The more obvious movements from this little one. This is by far my favorite part of pregnancy, those first obvious movements that aren't painful yet.
Looking Forward To: Another birth center group meeting and the anatomy scan!! On the 24th we will be seeing this little munchkin on an ultrasound! - I do have to say that the thought of an ultrasound scares me to death. The last one I had was the most awful experience. I am going to make a point to have them look for the heartbeat with the doppler before they look with the ultrasound. I never want to see an ultrasound with no heartbeat ever again.

Picture(s) for this week: - Yes, different shirt. I couldn't find the other one lol!

Week 18 - It's going SO FAST!

Pregnancy Highlights: I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is flying by! Part of me is glad because I feel like I have been pregnant forever. I have been feeling great this week and am starting to get more and more excited about having another little baby join our family.
How Far Along: 18 weeks
Size of baby: About 5.5" and weighing about 7 oz
Weight: 191.0
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gain: 8.6 lbs
Stretch Marks: Only the ones that haven't faded from my pregnancy with Cadence - I am really scared this time for the stretch marks. I feel like my belly is already huge, and I'm not even to the halfway point!
Maternity Clothes: Yes
Gender: We are not finding out until this little one is born, and I am SO excited for that! I am wavering in my resolve a little because we have the ultrasound scheduled.....but I am hoping that I stay strong!
Name: The names we choose will also remain private (at least on here) until He/She is born.
Movement: I have started feeling a little bit of movement again!
Sleep: The sleep is getting better, with me only waking up two or three times each night.
Exercise: We worked like crazy in the yard this week. Raking all the dirt back into the trenches, and leveling out the high parts of the yard.
Belly button still hurts most days, but it hasn't been as painful.
Throw up tally: Around 25 (I am losing count)
What I miss: Sleeping through the night. A solid few hours of sleep would be fabulous!
Cravings: Nothing big. Salads a little bit. More foods are sounding good which is nice
Aversions: Eggs! This is a complete opposite from the last two babies, with them I couldn't get enough. Other than that, I can't think of anything really big.
Things to do: Lol, everything! At 20 weeks I will actually make a list so I can start crossing things off. I think part of me is hesitating because starting on the nursery stuff means I have to take down Cadence's stuff.
Best Moment this week: Starting to feel movements again, and being able to exercise and be more active since being sick.
Looking Forward To: The anatomy scan!!

17 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights: This week has been interesting. I didn't think about my pregnancy very much because I lost my voice as a result of my illness last week. Parenting a toddler is MUCH harder when you can barely whisper to her. It was literally hard to even do that one day.
How Far Along: 17 weeks
Size of baby: About 5" and weighing about 5 oz
Weight: ??? - I am actually posting this while in Reno at an agility competition so I didn't weigh myself this week
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gain: 6.8 lbs
Stretch Marks: Only the ones that haven't faded from my pregnancy with Cadence - I am really scared this time for the stretch marks. I feel like my belly is already huge, and I'm not even to the halfway point!
Maternity Clothes: I finally have a bunch of pants and shirts!
Gender: We are not finding out until this little one is born, and I am SO excited for that!
Name: The names we choose will also remain private (at least on here) until He/She is born.
Movement: Still not feeling a lot anymore.
Sleep: The sleep is getting better, with me only waking up two or three times each night.
Exercise: Not even a little bit! Lol!
Hypnobabies: I am actually thinking of starting to listen to some of the tracks now and then starting the full course at 25-28 weeks as planned.
Symptoms: My belly button is becoming increasingly painful.
Throw up tally: Around 25 (I am losing count)
What I miss: Sleeping through the night. A solid few hours of sleep would be fabulous!
Cravings: Nothing big. Salads a little bit. More foods are sounding good which is nice
Aversions: Eggs! This is a complete opposite from the last to babies, with them I couldn't get enough. Other than that, I can't think of anything really big.
Things to do: Lol, everything!
Best Moment this week: Hearing this little one's heartbeat again at my meeting with the midwife
Looking Forward To: The anatomy scan!! I am not sure yet when that will be, but I am so excited to finally see this little one on an ultrasound!

Week 16 = Month 4!!!

Pregnancy Highlights: I can't believe I am already in the 4th month of pregnancy!! It is going by so quickly, but most some days it doesn't seem to be going fast enough. That sounds horrible, but it is how I am feeling lately. Some days I feel like I am in that 9 months along stage and am just SO done being pregnant. I am hoping that when I start feeling him/her move more and get started on the nursery stuff that I will feel better about being pregnant. Mostly I think it is just the fact that being pregnant back to back is SO hard! I will NEVER NEVER be pregnant back to back if I can at all help it. Being sick as a dog this week didn't help at all either. Ok, I am really done complaining lol!
How Far Along: 16 weeks
Size of baby: About 4.5" and weighing about 3.5 oz
Weight: 188.2
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gain: 6.8 lbs
Stretch Marks: Only the ones that haven't faded from my pregnancy with Cadence - I am really scared this time for the stretch marks. I feel like my belly is already huge, and I'm not even to the halfway point!
Maternity Clothes: I am planning a big shopping trip to stock up on Maternity clothes before my trip to Reno NV.
Gender: We are not finding out until this little one is born, and I am SO excited for that!
Name: The names we choose will also remain private (at least on here) until He/She is born.
Movement: Still not feeling a lot anymore.
Sleep: This week was horrible with being sick on top of already not great sleep.
Exercise: Other than walking the dogs, agility, and yard work, I didn't get in any really exercise this week.
Hypnobabies: I am actually thinking of starting to listen to some of the tracks now and then starting the full course at 25-28 weeks as planned.
Symptoms: I'm still feeling the need to clean everything, which is hard when I should be laying around recovering from my cold.
Best Moment this week: ......umm nothing??
Looking Forward To: I am excited about my first group meeting at the birth center on Tuesday morning. This is where a bunch of ladies due around the same time meet together to talk and get to know each other and one at a time go back to see the midwife.

Opps!!

Pregnancy Highlights: I totally forgot to write and post this on Sunday! Oh well, I have been feeling pretty good most of the time now. Its just in time for Robert and I to work on the front yard. We are putting in a lawn this year and the digging for the sprinkler system has been a ton of work! I still feel way more pregnant that I should at this stage. Robert and I got to hear this little one's heartbeat again this week, which was really great.
How Far Along: 15 weeks....and 3 days
Size of baby: About 4" and weighing about 2.5 oz
Weight: 189.4
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gain: 7.0 lbs - Weighed myself after a big breakfast so this may not be accurate.
Stretch Marks: Only the ones that haven't faded from my pregnancy with Cadence
Maternity Clothes: Sadly, my favorite maternity pants got a hole, so I have to go try to find some more.
Gender: We are not finding out until this little one is born, and I am SO excited for that! Though, I am on a Facebook group with a bunch of other Sept 2012 ladies and some of them have been finding out and announcing their baby's genders. One even posted a video of her cutting her gender reveal cake, and I ended up on Youtube watching all these fun cake cuttings. It made me a little anxious to find out what we are having, but I am still set on not finding out until the birth. I think if it ends up being twins though we will find out.....maybe lol.
Name: The names we choose will also remain private (at least on here) until He/She is born. I think we are going to choose two of each and then decide when we see our new little one.
Movement: Actually, I haven't felt a lot this week. Maybe because I have been so busy, but probably baby has just moved somewhere that I can't feel him/her.
Sleep: Better, but still not great. I have been having really disturbing horrific dreams some nights that makes it hard to go back to sleep when I wake up.
Exercise: Other than walking the dogs, agility, and yard work, I didn't get in any really exercise this week.
Hypnobabies: I wont be starting the course until around 25 weeks, and I can't wait!!
Symptoms: Feeling the need to clean EVERYTHING!
Throw up tally: Around 25 (I am losing count) - None this week!!
Best Moment this week: Hearing the heartbeat! Feeling more like a normal human being again.
Looking Forward To: Nothing big pregnancy wise this week! I am excited about my first group meeting at the birth center at the end of the month. This is where a bunch of ladies due around the same time meet together to talk and get to know each other and one at a time go back to see the midwife.

I promise I am still here!

Yes, I know it has been over a month since I posted last :( I have been pretty much sick as a dog since I found out I was pregnant. I am going to be doing weekly updates (hopefully) from now on, and I promise I will also be blogging about other things.

Pregnancy Highlights: As I said before, I am sick. I feel pretty good most mornings, but by afternoon I start feeling the nausea and it continues on until I got to bed. It has been this way since I was barely 4 weeks along. It has been a long 9 weeks. I am praying I start feeling better soon.
How Far Along: 13 weeks
Size of baby: Almost 3" and weighing not even 1 oz
Weight: 188.0 I seriously feel like a whale already this time around :(
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gain: 5.6 lbs - Starting point was 182.4 - I really don't think I am going to get away with only gaining 14 lbs this time :(
Stretch Marks: Only the ones that haven't faded from my pregnancy with Cadence
Maternity Clothes: Maternity jeans are awful comfy!!
Gender: We are not finding out until this little one is born, and I am SO excited for that!
Gender "Feeling": I feel like this one is a girl
Name: The names we choose will also remain private (at least on here) until He/She is born
Movement: Sometimes I think I feel flutters, but I am very skeptical about movement this early
Sleep: Predictably bad. I wake up almost every night around 3 and then don't really go back to sleep until morning. Many times I wake up because I am to hungry to sleep any longer.
Exercise: Honestly, I have been so sick most days that I can't do anything other than entertain and play with Kaylee. Every once in a while I run a little on the treadmill or walk the dogs for an hour or so, but it always makes me feel cruddy for the rest of the day.
Hypnobabies: I wont be starting the course until around 25 weeks, and I can't wait!!
Symptoms: Nausea most of the day, Fatigue, complete lack of motivation to do anything, and back pain around where my epidural was.
Throw up tally: Around 25 (I am losing count) - pretty sad seeing that between both my previous pregnancies I could count the times I threw up on one hand.
What I miss: Feeling good!! Being this sick for this long is so draining! I miss being able to run on a consistent basis. I miss enjoying food!
Cravings: Nothing. Though, I am seriously starving 90% of the time. One of the only things I have really liked is Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches....and those are getting old.
Aversions: Basically everything. Food doesn't sound good, ever.
Things to do: Lol, everything!
Best Moment this week: Um, nothing....that sounds really horrible, but so far this pregnancy has been really hard for me.
Looking Forward To: Feeling better and hearing the heartbeat on the 13th

Our Rainbow

This was our late Christmas present! December 29th to be exact.

See that light line on the left? That says that I am PREGNANT again!!

"Rainbow Babies" are the understanding that the beauty of a rainbow does not negate the ravages of the storm. When a rainbow appears, it does not mean that the storm never happened or that the family is not still dealing with its aftermath. What it means is that something beautiful and full of light has appeared in the midst of the darkness and the clouds. Storm clouds may still loom over but the rainbow provides a counterbalance of color, energy, and much needed hope."

We had been trying basically since Cadence was born, and were thrilled! I am due Sept 9, 2012, the exact same day (one year later) that I was due with Cadence. Crazy coincidence! I am so excited to be pregnant again! It has been rough so far. I have been sick basically since about 4 weeks. A lot of nausea, some throwing up, tired day in and day out, and no motivation to do anything.

So, here I am 10 weeks pregnant. Scared to death some days and incredibly happy and excited most of the others. I am overwhelmed to be pregnant again. I love pregnancy but back-to-back is turning out to be a bit much for me mentally, physically, and emotionally. This is going to sound silly, but one thing I am super overwhelmed about is that I will be pregnant again for the dog agility season. It sounds selfish, but I was looking forward to this season to have it be our best yet. Hobbs is in his prime, I was planning to get super fit and we were going to be awesome.....I guess that will have to wait for next year. Selfish, maybe, but that is how I feel.

I have the feeling this time that it is a girl. So, that means it's probably a boy lol! I thought both the girls were boys, and I will laugh my head off if this one ends up being a boy.

Robert and I decided this time to go to a birth center with a midwife rather than an OB at a hospital. We met with them a few weeks ago, and I went in today for my first appointment. I got to hear the little heartbeat for about 3 seconds. It was SOOO faint, but it was there! It was the best Valentine's Day present ever!

I will be updating throughout the pregnancy again, but I haven't decided how I want to do it yet. Probably the same way I did with Cadence with a little more written about how I am feeling about the pregnancy.
